They have a nice private studio which was helpful to shield my dogs from the action in the main store. There were several backgrounds to choose from and the staff was able to get great poses from my dogs. The pricing of the pet photographs was very fair and provided us with many options. We even got a cd-rom full of pictures that we could share with our friends and family. We got a great package of various print sizes and a nice large one for the wall. Coon Rapids is pleased to announce registrations are now being accepted for its annual Police Academy.

Participants will learn a variety of topics and participate in lectures, demonstrations, tours, ride-along, and hands-on exercises during this 10 week program held on Wednesday evenings for three hours beginning in early September. Application deadline is Friday, August 13th.

Applicants must be a resident of, or business owner/significant employer connection with Coon Rapids, at least 21 years of age, and successfully pass a criminal background check. There is a watermain break in the City of Coon Rapids on Springbrook Drive (near Allina Clinic) between 90th Avenue and Holly Street. The road is damaged and traffic is being detoured in that area. The repair work will take place this afternoon.

Water will be shut off at 5:30 p.m. tonight to accommodate the medical buildings in the area.
